Karun Nair’s form has been under scrutiny as he has only managed to score 65 runs in his last five innings for Delhi Capitals in the ongoing IPL season. Despite starting strong with a brilliant knock of 89 runs against Mumbai Indians, Nair has struggled to replicate that performance. Former cricketer Aakash Chopra criticized Nair for not capitalizing on the second chance he has been given. Delhi Capitals have faced a dip in form, losing three of their last five matches and putting their playoffs spot in jeopardy. Chopra pointed out that Nair’s failure to score big runs is a worrying sign for the team. In a recent match against KKR, Chopra highlighted that a run-out of a key player was a turning point that led to Delhi’s downfall. Nair, who has been batting at the top order, has not been able to deliver the big innings expected of him, raising concerns for Delhi’s campaign in the tournament.
