The Gujarat Titans are facing a race against time as they prepare for the IPL 2026 final against Royal Challengers Bengaluru on Sunday. Their chartered flight from Chandigarh to Ahmedabad was delayed due to heavy rain and storms in North-West India, leaving them with little time to rest before the big game.

Originally scheduled to depart on Saturday afternoon, the team’s flight was delayed due to adverse weather conditions, causing delays for several other flights as well. Sources have confirmed that the team is expected to arrive in Ahmedabad late on Saturday night, leaving them with no turnaround time before the final.

This season, the IPL Playoffs have been spread across three venues, including Dharamshala, New Chandigarh, and Ahmedabad, leading to extensive travel for the teams. While RCB arrived in Ahmedabad early and managed to fit in two training sessions before the final, the Gujarat Titans were unable to train due to their busy travel schedule.

With the added challenge of the weather disrupting their plans, the Titans must regroup quickly and arrive fresh for the title clash. Despite the setbacks, the team remains focused and determined to put up a strong fight in the final.
