With the upcoming IPL 2026 final set to take place in Ahmedabad on May 31, Akasa Air has revealed additional services to accommodate travelers attending the major cricket event. The airline has introduced special direct flights from Bengaluru and Navi Mumbai, while Western Railway will be operating special AC superfast trains between Mumbai Central and Ahmedabad. These added services aim to provide more travel options for those heading to the final and facilitate return journeys immediately after the match.

Akasa Air will be operating four direct flights on May 31 and June 1, in addition to their regular scheduled services to Ahmedabad. The timing of these special flights is designed to allow passengers to arrive in Ahmedabad before the final and depart shortly after the match. Passengers will also have access to live match updates through the airline’s SkyScore feature and will enjoy illuminated cabin interiors in the colors of the Indian tricolor during their flight.

Additionally, Western Railway will be running two special-fare AC Superfast Special trains between Mumbai Central and Ahmedabad on May 31. These trains will stop at Borivali, Vapi, Bharuch, Surat, and Vadodara in both directions, offering passengers a comfortable and convenient travel option. Overall, these additional flights and trains are meant to provide travelers with more flexibility and convenience when attending the IPL 2026 final in Ahmedabad.
