Popular music composer Anirudh Ravichander is all set to dazzle the Chepauk crowd with his hit songs before the Chennai Super Kings’ opening game against the Mumbai Indians on Sunday. This performance is part of the Indian Premier League’s plan to host opening ceremonies at all venues to mark the 18th edition of the Twenty20 league.

Accompanied by a dynamic dance troupe, the 34-year-old musician will take the stage from 6:30pm to 6:50pm, just before the start of the second match of IPL 2025 at 7:30pm. The stadium gates will open to the general public from 4:30 PM onwards to allow fans to participate in the festivities. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the pre-match celebrations and ensure a smooth entry into the venue.

Anirudh recently made headlines by being the first to receive the latest book on the Chennai Super Kings, titled ‘Leo—The Untold Story.’ The book, authored by former TNCA vice president P.S. Raman, was presented to him at a special event attended by former CSK captain M. S. Dhoni, all-rounder R. Ashwin, and former India cricketer C. D. Gopinath.

Overall, Anirudh’s performance promises to be a highlight of the evening, adding an extra layer of excitement and entertainment to the much-anticipated IPL match between the Chennai Super Kings and the Mumbai Indians.
