Fast bowler Mohammed Siraj recently opened up about being left out of India’s Champions Trophy squad despite his strong performance in the ICC ODI rankings. Even after Jasprit Bumrah’s injury, Harshit Rana was chosen over Siraj as a replacement. Siraj, who has been absent from the Indian team since January, remains focused on his game and does not let selection pressure affect him.

While tournaments like the Asia Cup and England tour are on his mind, Siraj is currently concentrating on the IPL with the Gujarat Titans. He utilized his time away from the national team to improve his fitness and bowling skills, particularly focusing on variations like slower balls and yorkers. Now, he is looking forward to working with Ashish Nehra, a renowned coach, during his time with GT. Siraj aims to learn new skills from Nehra to enhance his bowling abilities, such as bowling a stumps-to-stumps line and hitting the right length. With determination and hard work, Siraj is eager to make an impact in the upcoming IPL season.
