Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) has officially announced that Navdeep Saini will be replacing Harshit Rana in the team. Saini, the pacer from Delhi, will be joining KKR for Rs. 75 lakh. Harshit Rana had to withdraw from the tournament due to a knee injury that required surgery.
Saini, who has previously played for Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals in the IPL, has a record of 23 wickets in 32 matches with an average of 42.34 and an economy rate of 8.88. He has also represented India in all three formats of the game.
On the other hand, Gujarat Titans (GT) has announced that Kulwant Khejroliya will be stepping in for Prithviraj Yarra. Khejroliya, a left-arm seamer, will be joining GT for Rs. 30 lakh. He has previously played for Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians in the IPL, with a record of six wickets in eight matches at an average of 41 and an economy rate of 10.61.
GT did not provide a reason for Prithviraj’s absence from the tournament. The replacements were necessary as the teams gear up for the upcoming matches. The news was confirmed on March 25, 2026.
