For the second consecutive year, the Indian Premier League (IPL) and Pakistan Super League (PSL) are running simultaneously, sparking controversies. The PSL has lost overseas players to the IPL, leading to potential legal action by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). The debate over which league offers better competition is ongoing, with most overseas stars favoring the IPL. However, South Africa’s Rilee Rossouw, playing for the Quetta Gladiators in the PSL, believes the competition is fiercer in the PSL. Rossouw, who has also played in the IPL for teams like Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore, compared the two leagues, stating that the IPL is more of a spectacle with Bollywood involvement, while the PSL focuses more on cricket. Rossouw’s comments were supported by Australian spinner Adam Zampa, who chose the PSL over the IPL due to financial considerations. Zampa, representing the Karachi Kings in the PSL, expressed his satisfaction with the decision. Both players have had IPL experience but find the PSL more suitable for their preferences.
