The race for the IPL 2025 Playoffs is heating up with eight teams still in contention after 50 matches. Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals have been eliminated, while Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore are likely to finish in the top two spots.

Mumbai Indians are currently leading the standings with seven wins in 11 matches. They need just one more win in their remaining three matches to secure a spot in the Playoffs. Even if they don’t win any of their last three games, their superior Net Run Rate gives them a good chance of progressing.

Royal Challengers Bangalore are in second place with 14 points from 10 matches. They may need to win three of their remaining four matches to secure a spot without depending on other results. Punjab Kings are in third place with 13 points and need to win at least three of their remaining four matches to secure a spot in the Playoffs.

Gujarat Titans are in fourth place with six wins in nine games and have a good Net Run Rate. They need to win three of their remaining five matches to reach 18 points and qualify for the Playoffs. Delhi Capitals, Lucknow Super Giants, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Chennai Super Kings are still in the running but will need to win most of their remaining matches and rely on other results to have a shot at the Playoffs.
