Pat Cummins put on a stellar performance for Sunrisers Hyderabad against Delhi Capitals, dismantling their top-order with ease. Winning the toss and choosing to bowl first, Cummins struck early by dismissing opener Karun Nair on the very first delivery. He then went on to claim the wickets of Faf du Plessis and Abishek Porel, putting DC in a tough spot at 15/3 in just 4.1 overs. Cummins’ bowling was on point, as he sent down deliveries that troubled the DC batters and resulted in crucial breakthroughs for his team.

Despite SRH’s strong bowling performance, their chances of making it to the playoffs still hang in the balance. Even with potential wins in their upcoming games, they will need other results to go their way. The team’s strategies have not panned out as expected this season, and the performance of new acquisition Mohammed Shami has also been underwhelming. Shami recently set the record for the most runs conceded by an Indian bowler in IPL history, giving up 74 runs in just four overs against PBKS. It remains to be seen if SRH can turn their fortunes around and secure a spot in the playoffs.
