The upcoming nineteenth season of the Indian Premier League is all set to kick off with Royal Challengers Bangalore facing off against Sunrisers Hyderabad on March 28 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. RCB will be captained by Rajat Patidar, who led the team to victory in 2025, while Sunrisers Hyderabad will be led by Ishan Kishan in the absence of their regular captain, Pat Cummins.

Rajasthan Royals have made a change in their captaincy for this season, with Riyan Parag taking over from Sanju Samson. Additionally, the Royals have also appointed Kumar Sangakkara as their new head coach, replacing Rahul Dravid.
