Brad Haddin, the assistant coach of Punjab Kings, expressed that spending almost 15 days in Jaipur has been beneficial for the team in getting familiar with the conditions ahead of their final two league stage games. The team secured a spot in the Playoffs with a win against Rajasthan Royals and will now play their remaining games at the Sawai Mansingh stadium. Haddin mentioned that the extended stay in Jaipur has made the team feel at home and they are now well-acquainted with the pitch conditions.

According to Haddin, the high-scoring nature of the venue has been evident in previous matches, with scores ranging from 180 to 200 being common in the IPL. He emphasized the importance of focusing on improvement with each game rather than just securing a top-two finish. Skipper Shreyas Iyer, who sustained a finger injury in the previous game, is expected to be fully fit for the upcoming match against Delhi Capitals.

Haddin also spoke about the injury replacement for Glenn Maxwell, Mitch Owen, highlighting his aggressive batting style and ability to make an impact in a short period. Despite Owen’s dismissal for a duck in his IPL debut, Haddin believes that his power-hitting approach will benefit the team in crucial moments. Overall, the team is focused on continuing to improve as the tournament progresses and achieving their goals by the end of the season.
