The Board of Control for Cricket in India has announced that the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad will host the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 final on June 3, with Qualifier 2 also taking place there on June 1. Qualifier 1 and Eliminator will be held at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur on May 29 and 30, respectively. The decision to shift the venues for the playoffs was made due to weather conditions and other factors. The IPL 2025 season resumed on May 17 after a one-week suspension and the BCCI confirmed that an additional hour will be allocated for playing conditions in the remaining matches. Teams like Gujarat Titans, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, and Punjab Kings have secured their spots in the playoffs, while Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals are still in contention for the fourth spot. The RCB-SRH fixture has been relocated to Lucknow due to unfavorable weather conditions in Bengaluru. Lucknow Super Giants, Kolkata Knight Riders, SunRisers Hyderabad, Rajasthan Royals, and CSK have been eliminated from the playoff race.
