The Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad will host the IPL final for the second consecutive year, as announced by the BCCI. The playoffs will be held across three cities, with the summit clash set for the world’s largest cricket stadium on May 31. Ahmedabad has previously hosted the IPL final in 2022, 2023, and 2025. The Qualifier 1 will be on May 26 at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala, while the Eliminator and Qualifier 2 will be at the New International Cricket Stadium in New Chandigarh on May 27 and May 29, respectively. Bengaluru was originally set to host the final but logistical issues led to the venue being moved to Ahmedabad. The TATA IPL 2026 Playoffs will be conducted across three venues this season. The Narendra Modi Stadium, with a capacity of over 100,000, has hosted major cricketing events and four IPL finals. However, some fans are disappointed that cities like Kolkata and Mumbai, with rich cricketing history, are not hosting more marquee matches.
