This is Gill’s first offence of the season. The match saw a last-over thriller with Gill showing composure as his team chased down 13 runs to win. Despite the presence of in-form David Miller, DC fell short of the target. Gill’s fine will double for a repeat offence and he risks a one-match ban if he breaks the rules a third time. The Titans top-scored with Gill leading the charge, supported by Jos Buttler and Washington Sundar. KL Rahul’s valiant effort for DC was not enough to secure a win as Prasidh Krishna and Rashid Khan’s bowling proved too much for the Capitals. Miller’s decision to deny a single to Kuldeep Yadav in the final over sparked debate and ultimately cost DC the match.
