In the IPL 2025 match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals, Virat Kohli made history by becoming the first batter to hit 100 boundaries against seven different teams. Last Sunday, Kohli set a record for the most 50+ scores in IPL history, solidifying his place in the record books. During the match against Rajasthan Royals, Kohli became the second batter, after Shikhar Dhawan, to achieve 100 boundaries against them. This milestone means that Kohli has now scored 100 or more boundaries against seven different teams in the IPL. Impressively, Kohli has achieved this feat against every franchise in the Indian Premier League since its inception in 2008. Leading the chart, Kohli has hit 100 or more boundaries against Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, Punjab Kings, Rajasthan Royals, and Sunrisers Hyderabad. With his fifth fifty of the season, Kohli moved up to second place in the Orange Cap race. Sai Sudharsan of Gujarat Titans is currently leading with 417 runs, while Kohli has scored 392 runs in 9 innings.
