To achieve such a high score, SRH had to neutralize RCB’s key bowlers, including Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who struggled and conceded 51 runs in his four-over spell. Vettori explained that the decision to take on Kumar was crucial for their success, given his effectiveness with the new ball.
