Vaibhav Suryavanshi, a 14-year-old cricket prodigy from Bihar, has been making waves in the Indian cricket scene with his exceptional talent. He recently made headlines for scoring the fastest century by an Indian player in the IPL, showcasing his power and bravery against top bowlers. Despite his young age, Suryavanshi is considered a promising player, but there are concerns about his development being handled properly.

Hailing from Samastipur, Bihar, Suryavanshi’s family is determined to support his cricketing career within the Bihar Cricket Association, rather than seeking opportunities in wealthier state boards. His father is adamant that Suryavanshi should represent Bihar through the domestic levels of cricket, following in the footsteps of players like Ishan Kishan who had to move to other states to get noticed.

Suryavanshi made his First Class debut for Bihar at just 13 years old, gaining national recognition for his potential. He has excelled at the U-19 level, scoring a century against Australia and participating in the U-19 Asia Cup. Currently playing for Rajasthan Royals in the IPL, Suryavanshi is getting valuable experience in the absence of captain Sanju Samson. His future in Indian cricket looks bright, with his family’s unwavering support behind him.
