Two cousins, a 20-year-old man, and his 14-year-old cousin, tragically lost their lives in a motorcycle accident on Ashoka Road in New Delhi. The incident occurred just 10 meters away from the Delhi Police headquarters and the Parliament Street police station. The victims, residents of Ashok Nagar in West Delhi, were returning home after attending an IPL match at Arun Jaitley Stadium when a truck collided with their Royal Enfield Bullet. The elder cousin was driving the motorcycle while the younger one was speaking to his father on the phone. The family alleged negligence on the part of the police, claiming that they arrived late at the scene and delayed taking the injured cousins to the hospital. The driver of the truck fled the scene but has been identified, and efforts are underway to apprehend him. The 20-year-old was a college student, and his cousin was in Class 10. Both were passionate about cricket. The family expressed their grief and frustration over the tragic incident and the alleged lack of prompt response from the authorities.
