Rajasthan Royals secured a convincing 47-run victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad in a high-scoring encounter to advance to Qualifier 2. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi was the star of the match, smashing 97 runs off just 29 balls to propel RR to a massive total of 243. Despite Nitish Kumar Reddy’s all-round efforts for SRH, they fell short and were knocked out of the tournament.

In the batting department, Yashasvi Jaiswal contributed 29 runs, while Dhruv Jurel scored a quickfire 50 off 21 balls. Riyan Parag and Ravindra Jadeja also chipped in with valuable runs for RR. Jofra Archer was the pick of the bowlers for RR, picking up 3 wickets for 58 runs in his four overs.

For SRH, Ishan Kishan was the top scorer with 33 runs off 11 balls, supported by Salil Arora’s 35 runs off 21 balls. Nitish Kumar Reddy shone with both bat and ball, scoring 38 runs and picking up a wicket in his two overs. However, the rest of the SRH batting lineup failed to make a significant impact, resulting in their elimination from the tournament.

The match was a thrilling contest between the two teams, but it was Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s exceptional innings that ultimately proved to be the difference. RR will now face off against the top team in Qualifier 2, looking to secure a spot in the final.
