In Mumbai, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi put on a show in the IPL match at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium. After hitting a sensational century, he saluted his dugout in a display of celebration. This was not the first time Sooryavanshi impressed at this ground, as he had previously scored a century here last year.
Despite Sooryavanshi’s heroics, Rajasthan Royals’ total of 228/6 was chased down by Sunrisers Hyderabad, thanks to impressive performances by Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan. The match was marked by dropped catches and poor bowling by RR, allowing SRH to easily reach the target. Sooryavanshi’s innings, which included 12 sixes in a 36-ball blitz, was not enough to secure a victory for his team.
Although Sooryavanshi’s century was remarkable, it ended up in a losing cause. His aggressive batting style and ability to hit boundaries all over the ground showcased his immense talent. Despite being dismissed after reaching his century, Sooryavanshi’s performance was a highlight of the match.
