Jitesh Sharma, known for his banter on and off the field, recently took a humorous jab at his former franchise Punjab Kings, as well as Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants. In a podcast with Ranveer Allahbadia, the RCB player talked about the IPL, where RCB enters as defending champions for the first time in franchise history. Jitesh’s performance with both the gloves and the bat was crucial in RCB’s title win in 2025.
Having made the move from Punjab Kings, where he started his IPL career in 2022, Jitesh playfully responded to a comment about the three winless franchises in the IPL, saying they will remain left out. Despite the banter, he mentioned that RCB will aim to win again.
Jitesh’s banter is not new, as he previously engaged in playful exchanges with Chennai Super Kings during the IPL. He remains unfazed by banter and is focused on RCB’s success in the upcoming season. With a star above their crest, RCB will look to continue their winning streak and have the last laugh on the field.
