Former India opener Virender Sehwag has criticized the Kolkata Knight Riders for their costly mistake in signing Australian all-rounder Cameron Green for INR 25.20 crore. Green, who became the most expensive overseas buy in IPL history, has failed to perform well for KKR, managing just 56 runs and one wicket in five matches. Sehwag advised KKR to admit their error and drop Green for the next game to improve their chances of winning. He suggested replacing Green with Tim Seifert and having Finn Allen open alongside him, while captain Ajinkya Rahane moves to No. 3 in the batting order. Sehwag emphasized the importance of acknowledging mistakes and making necessary changes for the team’s success. KKR’s next match is against the Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad on Friday.
