Their last playoff result was a loss to Rajasthan Royals by 4 wickets in the Eliminator round of 2024. The team’s highest score in playoffs stands at 207/4 against Lucknow Super Giants in the Eliminator of 2022, while their lowest score was 131/7 against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Eliminator of 2020.

In terms of their finishes in playoffs, RCB reached the final in 2009 and 2011, only to fall short against Deccan Chargers and Chennai Super Kings, respectively. They also made it to the final in 2016 but were once again unable to clinch the title. Their most successful outing was in 2015 when they reached Qualifier 2.

When it comes to individual performances in playoffs, Virat Kohli leads the way with 341 runs in 15 innings, followed by AB de Villiers with 268 runs in 9 innings. In terms of bowling, S. Aravind has taken 10 wickets in 7 innings for RCB, followed by Yuzvendra Chahal with 9 wickets in 6 innings.

As RCB prepares to face Punjab Kings in Qualifier 1, they will be looking to finally break their playoff jinx and secure their maiden IPL title.
