Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) dominated Delhi Capitals (DC) in a crushing 9-wicket victory at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. The duo of Josh Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar Kumar decimated Delhi’s batting lineup, restricting them to a mere 75 runs. RCB easily chased down the target in just 6.3 overs, with Virat Kohli sealing the win with consecutive sixes. This win not only earned RCB 2 points but also boosted their Net Run Rate to a league-high +1.919.
In the updated IPL 2026 Points Table, RCB now sits comfortably in 2nd place with 12 points, trailing behind the unbeaten Punjab Kings. On the other hand, DC’s heavy defeat has pushed them down to 7th place, tied with CSK but lagging in run rate.
As the playoff race heats up, Punjab Kings remain undefeated, while SRH and RR battle for the 3rd and 4th spots. LSG and Mumbai Indians are struggling at the bottom, needing consecutive wins to stay alive in the tournament.
Next up in the IPL, PBKS will face off against RR in New Chandigarh on April 28.
