Dhoni, walking in to bat at 172/5, immediately made an impact by hitting a boundary off Marco Jansen on his first ball. Facing Yuzvendra Chahal, known for exploiting Dhoni’s struggles against spin, Dhoni confidently stepped out and smashed a six with just one hand on the bat, thrilling the Chepauk crowd. However, Jadeja stole the spotlight by casually catching the shot near the CSK dugout, drawing laughter and applause from players and fans. The moment quickly went viral, showcasing the camaraderie between the two CSK stars. Unfortunately, Dhoni was dismissed by Chahal later in the same over after a quickfire cameo of 11 off 4 balls.
