Praful Hinge, a young pacer from Vidarbha, made a memorable debut for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League by taking three wickets in his first over against Rajasthan Royals. The 24-year-old relied on his red-ball approach to succeed in the fast-paced T20 format, testing the batters with the new ball and playing with patience.
Praful credited his father and elder sister for motivating him to achieve his dreams of playing for India. He started training at a young age and worked his way up through age-group cricket to catch the attention of SRH. Praful had the opportunity to meet his idol, Pat Cummins, who encouraged him to play with heart and enjoy the game.
Cummins advised Praful to do whatever he does with passion and reminded him to smile and have fun while playing in the competitive T20 format. Praful’s journey from training with his father to sharing the field with his cricketing idol is a testament to his hard work and dedication to the sport.
