The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) are set to take on the Delhi Capitals in the fourth match of the IPL 2026 season on April 1 at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. The match is anticipated to be a high-scoring affair with explosive T20 batsmen like Nicholas Pooran, Mitchell Marsh, Aiden Markram, and Rishab Pant representing LSG, and Tristan Stubbs and David Miller playing for DC.

Both teams have been hit by injuries to key players, with DC missing Mitchell Starc for an unspecified period and Ben Duckett ruled out for the entire tournament. LSG’s Wanindu Hasaranga is awaiting clearance from the Sri Lankan Cricket Board, while Josh Inglis will be absent for personal reasons in the first half of the tournament.

In the 2025 season, DC emerged victorious in both encounters against LSG. The Capitals won by one wicket in a thrilling chase at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, and then secured an eight-wicket win in the reverse fixture.

The match between LSG and DC will be broadcast on the Star Sports Network in India and can be streamed live on the JioHotstar app and website. The squads for both teams have been finalized, with Rishabh Pant leading LSG and Axar Patel captaining DC.

The match is scheduled to start at 7:30 PM IST, with the toss set for 7:00 PM IST. Cricket fans can look forward to an exciting showdown between these two competitive teams in the IPL 2026 season.
