Virat Kohli, known for his competitive and aggressive nature on the cricket field, showcased his fiery approach once again during an IPL 2025 fixture against Matheesha Pathirana. After a slow start to his innings, Kohli accelerated in the 11th over by hitting a six off Pathirana’s short ball, which had previously crashed into his helmet. Following the aggressive shot, Kohli exchanged words with the bowler, showing his determination to bounce back from the hit.

Unfortunately, Kohli was dismissed in the 13th over by Afghan spinner Noor Ahmad after scoring 31 runs off 30 balls. Despite this, Kohli has had a successful career, being the highest run-scorer in the IPL and excelling in T20Is, ODIs, and international cricket. He has also played a crucial role in India’s recent Champions Trophy victory.

Throughout his illustrious career, Kohli has won multiple championships, including the ODI World Cup, Champions Trophy, and T20 World Cup. However, he has yet to win an IPL title with RCB. After winning the T20 World Cup in 2024, Kohli announced his retirement from the shortest format of the game.
