Heinrich Klaasen and Eshan Malinga were the standout performers for Sunrisers Hyderabad in their dominant 55-run victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore on May 22. Klaasen’s impressive half-century earned him a top score of 8.5, while Malinga’s two-wicket haul was rated at 8.
For RCB, Rasikh Salam was the most impactful player with a rating of 6.5, followed by Venkatesh Iyer who scored a quickfire 44 off 19 balls, earning a rating of 6.
In the batting department, Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan contributed significantly for SRH with scores of 7.5 each. Sharma scored a blistering 56 off 22 balls, including four fours and five sixes, while Kishan smashed 79 off 46 balls with eight fours and three sixes. Nitish Kumar Reddy also played a crucial role with an unbeaten 29 off 12 balls.
On the bowling front, apart from Malinga, Sakib Hussain stood out for SRH with figures of 1/31 in four overs, earning a rating of 7.5. For RCB, Rasikh Salam’s 2/52 in four overs was the highlight.
Overall, Sunrisers Hyderabad put up a strong all-round performance to secure a convincing win over Royal Challengers Bangalore.
