The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has rescheduled Match 19 of the Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025) between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). Originally scheduled for April 6, the match will now take place on April 8 at 3:30 PM IST. This decision was made in response to a request from Kolkata Police to the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) for the deployment of personnel across the city during festivities.

April 8 will now feature a double-header, with KKR vs LSG in the afternoon and Punjab Kings (PBKS) facing Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the evening. KKR currently sits in seventh place in the IPL 2025 points table, while LSG is in second place. LSG’s new skipper, Rishabh Pant, expressed relief after their recent win, emphasizing the team’s focus on the process and giving credit to key players.
