Karan Aujla is set to perform at the opening ceremony of the 18th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) with great excitement. The event will take place at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens on Saturday evening, kicking off the cricket season. Aujla expressed his thrill at being part of such a prestigious platform, stating, “Thrilled beyond measure to perform at the IPL 2025 opening ceremony. Cricket and Indians go hand in hand and it’s the same for me. One thing is for sure—Mahaul hoga Wavy!” Alongside Aujla, other high-profile performers like Shreya Ghoshal, Arijit Singh, Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor, and Disha Patani are also lined up for the star-studded event. The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) President mentioned that the opening ceremony will be a tightly packed spectacle to set the stage for the tournament’s first match. Previous IPL seasons have featured extravagant opening ceremonies with renowned artists and entertainers. The IPL 2025 season will officially kick off with a match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on March 22 at Eden Gardens.
