According to JioStar, the ongoing Indian Premier League has seen a seven per cent increase in watch-time on digital platforms, with TV viewership expected to reach 500 million. The overall digital reach of the IPL has grown by 15 per cent, with data collected from 51 matches on Linear TV and 57 games on the digital platform.

JioStar reported a 25 per cent growth in reach on Connected TV (CTV) with a 20 per cent increase in watch-time. Additionally, regional language watch-time has seen a significant uptick of 42 per cent. Anup Govindan, Head of Sales at JioStar Sports, mentioned that the competitive nature of the tournament has led to a week-on-week increase in reach, highlighting the strong resonance of the IPL with fans across screens.

The broadcaster also noted that the growth in viewership has attracted 125 new advertisers compared to the previous season. Twenty-two sponsors have partnered with JioStar on digital platforms, while 16 have come on board for linear TV. These sponsors include both traditional Indian brands and modern, technology-driven platforms, reflecting the national scale and increasing relevance of the IPL for brands.
