The IPL 2025 fixture between Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians, scheduled for May 11, has been moved from Dharamsala to Ahmedabad due to Operation Sindoor. The decision was confirmed by the Gujarat Cricket Association secretary. The match will kick off at 3:30 PM IST. Originally, there were talks of relocating the game to Mumbai, but it was shifted to a neutral venue instead. Operation Sindoor was initiated in response to a terror attack in Pahalgam, leading to heightened security concerns and the closure of several airports. However, Punjab Kings’ match against Delhi Capitals in Dharamsala will proceed as planned. Ahead of the PBKS vs. DC match, singer B Praak will pay tribute to the Indian Armed Forces at HPCA Stadium. Both Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings are eager to secure a win in this crucial fixture to boost their chances of reaching the playoffs, especially after Mumbai Indians’ recent defeat to Gujarat Titans.
