Sudharsan’s explosive knock of 87 runs off 46 balls, including four fours and seven sixes, helped GT chase down a target of 159 runs. Kagiso Rabada’s three-wicket haul restricted CSK to 158/7. Sudharsan had previously scored a century in GT’s game against Royal Challengers Bengaluru but ended up on the losing side.

Sudharsan currently leads the IPL 2026 Orange Cap race with 759 runs in 15 innings at an average of 54.21 and a strike rate of 156.17. He expressed gratitude and happiness after the match, attributing his success to confidence and focusing on playing the ball late.
