The Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) recently met at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium to address ongoing issues between the two parties. SRH had previously raised concerns about alleged “blackmailing tactics” by HCA, prompting the intervention of BCCI and the IPL Governing Council. However, HCA denied these accusations during the meeting.

Both parties discussed the existing tri-party agreement between SRH, HCA, and BCCI, with SRH proposing that 10% of the stadium capacity be allocated across all sections. HCA suggested maintaining the current allocation of passes in each category, as per the traditional practice.

Following further discussions with SRH CEO K. Shanmugam, a resolution was reached. The agreement includes the retention of 3900 complimentary passes for HCA, in line with past practices. HCA also pledged to cooperate professionally with SRH moving forward. Both organizations expressed their commitment to collaborating harmoniously to improve the spectator experience at the stadium.

With the successful resolution of the issues discussed, HCA and SRH aim to work together positively in the future to enhance the overall experience for fans at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium.
