Mumbai Indians have had a rough start to the new IPL season, losing their first two games which has left captain Hardik Pandya worried. After a defeat against the Super Kings in Chennai, Mumbai suffered a 36-run loss to Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad. Pandya pointed fingers at the batters for the team’s poor performance, citing “basic errors” as the reason for their back-to-back losses.

Gujarat Titans put up a strong performance on a challenging pitch in Ahmedabad, with opener Sai Sudharshan leading the charge with a quick start in the powerplay. Pandya acknowledged the opposition’s exceptional batting display and admitted that Mumbai was playing catch up from the start.

Despite his own success with the ball, Pandya expressed concerns about Mumbai’s batting lineup, emphasizing the need for the batters to step up and take responsibility. He highlighted the importance of avoiding basic errors and maximizing scoring opportunities in T20 games.

Mumbai Indians will face Kolkata Knight Riders in their next match, and Pandya urged the batters to improve and deliver a better performance in the upcoming game.
