Gujarat Titans had a strong IPL 2025 campaign, finishing in third place during the league phase. However, their dreams of reaching a third IPL final were dashed by a defeat to Mumbai Indians in the playoffs. GT won the IPL title in their debut season in 2022 and were runners-up in 2023. Last year, they won nine matches and lost five during the league phase.

Led by captain Shubman Gill, GT is set to begin their IPL 2026 campaign against Punjab Kings on March 31 in New Chandigarh, followed by a home game against Rajasthan Royals on April 4 in Ahmedabad. They retained 20 players and entered the mini-auction with a purse of ₹12.90 crore, acquiring players like Jason Holder and Tom Banton. They also released some players and finalized their schedule for the first phase of the tournament.

In their first four games of IPL 2026, GT will face Punjab Kings, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals, and Lucknow Super Giants. The remaining fixtures will be announced based on the election schedules of certain states.
