Andhra pacer Satyanarayana Raju made his debut for the Mumbai Indians in their Indian Premier League 2025 match against Chennai Super Kings. The 25-year-old was signed by the five-time champions for a base price of Rs. 30 lakh.

Raju caught the attention of the Mumbai Indians with his impressive performances in the Andhra Premier League 2024. The right-arm fast bowler took eight wickets in seven matches for the Rayalaseema Kings, with an economy rate of 6.15.

In the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2024, Raju represented Andhra in seven games, picking up seven wickets at an average of 26.85 and an economy of 8.23. He also featured for the state team in the Ranji Trophy during the 2024/25 season, taking 16 wickets in six matches at an average of 30.18.

Raju’s inclusion in the Mumbai Indians starting lineup was a testament to his promising talent and consistent performance in domestic cricket. The young bowler will be looking to make a mark in the IPL and contribute to his team’s success in the tournament.
