The BCCI announced the first phase of the schedule for the 2026 IPL season, with 20 games set to be played in 10 cities including Bengaluru, Mumbai, Guwahati, and more. Chennai Super Kings will play four of these matches, two away and two at home. They will start their campaign against Rajasthan Royals in Guwahati on March 30 and then host Punjab Kings in Chennai on April 3. CSK will also face Royal Challengers Bangalore in Bengaluru and Delhi Capitals in Chennai. The team made significant signings during the auction, including Prashant Veer and Kartik Sharma for INR 14.2 crore each. Their biggest acquisition was Sanju Samson in a trade deal with Rajasthan Royals. Despite questions about MS Dhoni’s role in the team, CSK’s CEO has assured fans that Dhoni will be part of the entire season. The full squad includes players like Ruturaj Gaikwad, M.S. Dhoni, Shivam Dube, and Sanju Samson. The schedule and squad details were shared by the BCCI in a recent announcement.
