The controversy surrounding Rajasthan Royals manager Romi Bhinder’s use of a mobile phone during an IPL match has escalated, with the BCCI launching a formal investigation. Bhinder was spotted using a phone in the dugout, violating the IPL’s protocol which permits phone use only in the dressing room. The ACSU has issued him a notice and given him 48 hours to explain the incident. Sources claim Bhinder’s phone use was due to a medical emergency, as he has dealt with serious health issues in the past. Despite this, the ACSU will investigate the matter further. The scrutiny intensified after a viral clip showed another individual glancing at the phone. Sources hope that Bhinder’s medical conditions will be taken into consideration during the investigation. Bhinder has reportedly lost weight and has asthma, making it difficult for him to walk long distances. He will provide his explanation to the ACSU officials.
