Punjab Kings have retained two players, Prabhsimran Singh and Shashank Singh, for the IPL 2025 mega auction, while releasing the rest of their squad. The team will go into the auction with Rs 110 crore in purse and four Right-To-Match cards. The auction is set to take place in Jeddah on November 24 and 25.

Shashank Singh has been retained for Rs. 5.5 crore, while Prabhsimran Singh has been retained for Rs. 4 crore. Punjab Kings may use their RTM card to reacquire premier Indian bowler Arshdeep Singh and possibly sign Kagiso Rabada as an additional pace bowler. They may also look to secure Ashutosh Sharma, an uncapped Indian player who made an impact in the team’s previous campaign.

It is worth noting that Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals have no RTMs left as they have retained all six players. For more information on the RTM rule in IPL, check out this article.
