Thomas Jack Draca, a right-arm medium pacer from Italy, has registered for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) mega auction in Jeddah on November 24 and 25. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced that a total of 1574 players, including 320 capped players, 1224 uncapped players, and 30 players from Associate Nations, have registered for the auction. Draca, who made his T20I debut for Italy in June this year, has been listed at the 325th position in the auction registration. He has previously played for the Mumbai Indians-owned MI Emirates squad in the ILT20 and also had a stint with the Brampton Wolves in the Canada T20 league. Despite Italy being known as a football-centric nation, cricket has slowly been gaining popularity in the country and features in various ICC-affiliated events. This marks Draca’s first registration for an IPL auction, showcasing his potential to make a mark in the cricketing world.
