When Rajasthan Royals (RR) faced Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on April 19, 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi made his debut as the youngest player in IPL history. Despite LSG winning by a narrow margin, Suryavanshi impressed with a quick cameo, scoring 34 runs off 20 balls with a strike rate of 170.00. His childhood coach, Brajesh Jha, praised his dedication and talent, stating that Suryavanshi has always faced challenges but has worked hard to reach this point. Although his academics suffered slightly due to his focus on cricket, he remains committed to both aspects of his life. Suryavanshi’s natural batting ability was evident from the start, and he has already represented India in the ACC U-19 Asia Cup, where he played a crucial role in the team’s success. With Samson injured, Suryavanshi is expected to continue playing for RR in their upcoming matches, showcasing his potential as a promising young cricketer.
