Salman, the CEO of the Pakistan Super League, recently announced that PSL 11 will feature 8 teams, including two new franchises. Among the cities deserving a spot in the upcoming season, Sialkot and Hyderabad stand out.

Sialkot Superstars, hailing from the cricket hub of Pakistan, have a rich cricketing history and a passionate fanbase. With players like Shoaib Malik and Haris Rauf already making their mark in the PSL, Sialkot has the potential to produce more talent. The Jinnah Stadium in Sialkot is already equipped to host matches and could easily be upgraded for PSL.

On the other hand, Hyderabad Heroes represent an untapped cricket market in Sindh. With a new stadium in the works and the support of PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, Hyderabad has the infrastructure to support a PSL team. Not to mention, the city is yet to be represented in the PSL, making it an attractive option for expansion.

While other cities like Faisalabad, Mardan, and Mirpur Khas are also being considered, Sialkot and Hyderabad emerge as the top contenders due to their existing infrastructure and strong fan bases. These cities have the potential to enhance the reach and diversity of the PSL, making them ideal candidates for inclusion in PSL 11.
