Many fans, especially those of TMKOC, appreciated the nod to the show’s character Champaklal Gada. Some fans joked that Jethalal approved the name, while others felt that other options were better.

Champak made its debut at the Delhi Capitals vs Mumbai Indians match, where it acted as the coin-bearer.
