Australian Test stars such as Steve Smith, Marnus Labuschagne, Sam Konstas, and Alex Carey are set to join the Big Bash League teams this week as the regular season reaches its final stages. After their 3-1 series win against India, many of these players will be available for a three-game stretch before heading to a camp in the UAE in preparation for the upcoming two-Test tour of Sri Lanka.

Labuschagne and Usman Khawaja will boost the Brisbane Heat’s batting order, while Carey is expected to play for the Adelaide Strikers. Travis Head’s availability for the Strikers remains uncertain due to fatigue after the grueling Test series.

Smith is confirmed to play for the Sydney Sixers, and there is hope for an early return for him against the Melbourne Stars. Mitchell Starc, however, is set to be rested despite being signed as a replacement player. Other Test players like Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, and Nathan Lyon are also expected to make appearances for their respective BBL teams.

The BBL fixtures for the week include exciting match-ups like Brisbane Heat vs. Melbourne Stars, Perth Scorchers vs. Melbourne Renegades, and Sydney Sixers vs. Perth Scorchers. The presence of these Test stars is sure to add more excitement and quality to the BBL matches as teams battle for positions on the table.
