Sunrisers Hyderabad has made a change in their squad by replacing injured England fast bowler Brydon Carse with South African all-rounder Wiaan Mulder. Carse had aggravated a left toe injury last month, leading to his withdrawal from England’s Champions Trophy campaign and now the 2025 edition of the Twenty20 league. Mulder, who has experience in T20 internationals, tests, and one-day internationals, will join the team for 7.5 million Indian rupees. In the previous mega auction held in November 2024 in Saudi Arabia, Sunrisers had acquired Carse at his base price of Rs 1 crore. The team announced the roster change on Thursday, emphasizing the acquisition of Mulder as a replacement. This move aims to strengthen the squad and maintain competitive performance in the upcoming matches.
