Rishabh Pant’s poor form in the ongoing IPL 2025 season continued as he managed just 106 runs in eight matches at an average of 15.14. The Lucknow Super Giants captain was dismissed for just three runs off nine balls in a recent match against the Rajasthan Royals. Former India batter Manoj Tiwary criticized Pant for his unconventional batting style, citing his dismissal due to an audacious reverse sweep. Tiwary advised Pant to learn from Virat Kohli and approach the white-ball format with more composure, emphasizing the importance of building an innings gradually. LSG will face the Delhi Capitals in their next match at home. Pant’s unconventional approach to batting was also questioned by Tiwary, who urged him to focus on playing more conventional shots to improve his performance.
