Virender Sehwag criticized the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) batters for their poor performance against Punjab Kings in a rain-curtailed match. RCB managed only 95/9 in 14 overs, with Tim David’s innings saving them from a lower total. Sehwag highlighted the lack of common sense in the batters’ approach, as they played reckless shots and failed to build a competitive total. He specifically called out RCB captain Rajat Patidar for not finding a solution to their batting issues, as RCB suffered their third consecutive home loss. Sehwag credited PBKS bowlers for their performance but emphasized the importance of RCB batters taking responsibility for their failures. Despite a strong start to the season, RCB has now lost two of their last three games. Sehwag called for a proactive approach from the RCB captain and players to address their batting woes and improve their home record.
