Vaibhav Suryavanshi made history by becoming the youngest Indian to score a century in the IPL at just 14 years old. Hailing from Motipur village in Samastipur, Bihar, Vaibhav’s journey to cricket stardom began when he scored a century on debut in a U-19 Youth Test match against Australia at the age of 12. Signed by Rajasthan Royals for ₹1.1 crore at the IPL 2025 auction, Vaibhav impressed with a six off the first ball he faced in his debut match.

His coach, Manish Ojha, revealed Vaibhav’s dedication to training, traveling 100 kilometers from Samastipur to Patna for practice sessions. Vaibhav’s parents, especially his father Sanjiv Suryavanshi, made immense sacrifices to support his cricket dream, with his father selling off farmland. Vaibhav’s success has brought pride to his village, with his family and community celebrating his achievements.

Vaibhav’s grandmother, Usha Singh, expressed her joy and support for his cricketing journey. His success is not just a personal achievement but a source of pride for his family, village, and the nation.
